The food industry is a traditional sphere for the utilisation of the cooling technologies of CKD CHLAZENÍ, s.r.o. Equipment for breweries, meat packing plants, dairies and fruit and vegetable storage facilities is often conducted in a continuous mode, with only occasional supervision, and it is also interesting from an economic point of view.

Breweries - Malting Plants

Cooling equipment is used for the cooling of process water in the brewing process and for maintaining its temperature in the tank. In the manufacture of malt, cooled air is utilised for the maintenance of its temperature using gilled radiators. Cooling reciprocating or screw compressors, including their regulatory elements, ensure the automatically set operating temperature required.

Meat packing plants

Complete cooling systems are used for the continuous cooling and freezing of meat after slaughter, for maintaining temperatures during its storage and further processing. Through a suitable choice of reciprocating or screw compressors, low temperatures can be achieved for a standard or shock freezing of meat, fish or poultry.

Dairies

The cooling device provides the cooling of process water in the production of milk, dairy products and their storage. The cooling equipment is additionally used for cooling air to low temperatures in the manufacture and storage of frozen dairy products.

Fruit and vegetable storage facilities

The cooling device can be used for cooling storage spaces for fruit, vegetables and their by-products, in both packaged and bulk form.
