The Modi-pro control system is an advanced system designed for automating the operation of the cooling equipment, based on reciprocating or screw compressors. The system is able to control a common cooling machinery unit, e.g. of a winter stadium, a dairy, a meat processing plant, a brewery or for other technological processes.
The Modi-pro control system installed for the device, that is in engineering and design terms adjusted for automated operation, permits the running of this device completely automatically, with an emphasis on safe and economical operation, requiring only occasional oversight by professional staff.
The Modi-pro control system allows for the connection of various types of compressors, the setting of a variety of modes and behaviour of the device, facilitates control of the technological circuits and of regulation of the output in order to optimise the interdependencies between the system, the cooling equipment and the technology.
The Modi-pro control system is also able to control the simple technological equipment directly related to the cooling circuit. Thereby it is possible to optimise the mutual interactions and to save on the cost of automation of the machinery.
In complex cooling circuits, where it is appropriate to use a superior system, the Modi-pro control system enables direct connection to such superior systems via the communication line. All information concerning the operation of the compressor is passed on for further processing or visualisation.
The Modi-pro control system facilitates the operation of the compressor in its optimum working condition and thereby significantly increases the service-life of the compressor. The system is able to process an external signal for the reduction of the input of the compressor when it exceeds a quarter-hour maximum power intake.
The Modi-pro control system supports networking and thereby optimises the operation of cooling machinery using multiple compressors. It also supports a connection to a PC with service software installed. The PC can be connected locally by cable or remotely via a modem. The advantage of the remote connection is its operational control of the device and the option for remote configuration. A remote connection contributes to faster and cheaper maintenance.
The Modi-pro control system is modular, therefore the system software can be adjusted to the various functions that are carried out by the cooling equipment and expand this system at any time, as required.
